Hippocrates, often called the father of medicine, was one of the first physicians to treat diseases as natural occurrences rather than supernatural ones. His legacy includes the Hippocratic Oath, a set of ethical standards that new physicians must uphold.
2. Pediatrician
Next is the Pediatrician. A pediatrician manages the overall health of children from birth until age 18, working in pediatric medicine. The first pediatric hospital was opened in Paris, France, in 1802, highlighting the importance of specialized care for young patients.
3. Neurologist
